The author wasinspired to chronicle this story after perusing a bunch of letters that he hadmanaged to smuggle out to his mother and some accounts of his life shared by thesilently suffering lady. He has tried to portray, with literary liberty, thepathos of this tragic hero and the arrow of time that he walked past.
