About The Author
J. A. Cuddon
was born on June 2, 1928, and he taught English at the Emanuel School in London, England. The author has written several books on sports and has edited several literary works. He has written books like Dictionary of Sport and Games and has edited The Penguin Book of Ghost Stories and The Penguin Book of Horror Stories. He died on March 12, 1996.
